l missed a dose of my medicine yesterday and my body has been acting out ever since.l have been taking inderal (long acting) for POTS for a year and a half and l missed my first dose yesterday.l definitely felt it and knew by the afternoon.l took it and l felt alright for the rest of the day, but today l feel horrible.l had a migraine earlier, l am wiped out, aching all over, and the back f my neck hurts really bad (just two spots near each of my ears).:(l do not know if there is anything the walk in clinic can do... so l guess my questions are:

Should l be concerned?Can a missed dose of inderal do this?Or am l coming down with something?

For regular (short-acting) Inderal: Take the missed dose as soon as u remember. If ur next dose is less than 4 hours away, skip the missed dose & take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time.

For extended-release propranolol (Inderal LA, InnoPran XL & others): Take the missed dose as soon as u remember. If ur next dose is less than 8 hours away, skip the missed dose & take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time.

Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.


You may have possibly overdosed/underdosed slightly, so l would not be too worried as of now. If tomorrow, symptoms persist, I'd seek medical attention as soon as possible!
