what is mild stroke

A section of the brain does not get oxygen due to blocked vessels etc. Also, you can get stroke with high blood pressure.

sumtyms l get chest pains that really hurt but then they go away in a lil while.
could that be a mild stroke?

A stroke or CVA is where a blood vessel either gets blocked or bursts and bleeds in the brain, causing lack of oxygen to that part of the brain.

The result is loss of function in the body that is relative to the damaged part of the brain.

As a mild stroke indicates the damage is less than in a severe stroke, and the recovery expected is greater and faster. Sometimes there is no deficit to function at all after a short time if given proper stroke rehab.

It could mean a transient ischemic attack (TIA) which means that it is reversible within 24 hours.secondly it could mean that the manifestations from the stroke can be resolved within a month without any neurological deficits.i.e. slurred speech, paralysis, weakness...
