Normal heart rate, ''RESTING,'' should be between 60 to 80
beats per minute.
When l say RESTING, that means sitting down without any physical activity, for a minute or two before you take your
pulse.

Generally a heart rate between 60 to 80 may be taken as normal. How ever a pulse rate of 60 may be considered to be a little on the lower side, unless it raises steadily with exercise & returns back to normal while relaxing. In females at the age of 19 it may vary a little above 80 due to common fluctuations in their hormonal levels etc.,
However if ur heart rate continues to be at 100 & above causing inconvenience, u may please see ur Doctor for a detailed examination & investigations, thyroid function tests etc., for necessary treatment.
