heck yeah! ''ideal'' or ''normal'' blood pressure is 120 over 80. it can vary a little but yours is WAY too high. see a doctor, and good luck! :)

Yes, that is too high. the normal blood pressure ranges from 120/80 - 140/90. Your blood pressure could be affected by activities. Did you have a good rest before taking your B/P? You should not get your B/P after having activities like walking or running. You should rest first and be relaxed. Or It could be that you have hypertension. You better see a doctor.

anything over 140 is high, depends what age you are but mine was 145/85 and was told to get it done and now 130/75 aged 51 Female.
