yes .there is a chance of the recurrance of the disease..actually it depends on the exact type of the anemia.
such as
Hereditary anemia
>Hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell anemia)
>Enzymopathies (G6PD deficiency)
>Membrane defects (hereditary spherocytosis)
> Autoimmune hemolytic anemia...... these can reoccur

Since you specifically mentioned iron deficiency anemia, there are two ways it can come back. First is that if diet become deficient in iron, it can come again. Second is blood loss. When there is blood loss from some part of the body (intestine, urinary bladder, uterus etc), the dietary intake of iron becomes insufficient to synthesize the lost hemoglobin. The cause of blood loss can come back in certain situations even after full treatment on one occasion.
