40 to 70 depending on activity.

If l refer back to my studies..for an adult the range is 60-90bpm and some have a lower resting pulse more like 50-60bpm due to an active lifestyle(particularly for runners).

Well.it is not that simple, really. A ''normal'' heart rate for one guy could be totally ''abnormal'' for another. When it comes to vital signs, they really should be measured as a set (including heart rate, respiratory rate, Blood pressure, skin parameters, etc.) rather than trying to diagnose them individually. Also, l think that a person is size & physical health, verses age, would contribute more to a ''healthy range'' in pulse rate. Honestly, I've seen 35 y/o guys with radial pulse rates anywhere from 12 beats per min. all the way to 200bpm! Hope l helped a little.even though l really did not give a specific number!-Take care!

The average rate is anywhere from 60-90. If you're very active your resting rate can be as low as the 40's. If you're not very fit, or overweight, your resting rate can be over 90.

The ''average'' pulse rate is 60 - 100 in most peope from 18 to about 65 years of age. There r differences in people depending on how active they are, what weight & so on. But generally speaking its 60 - 100.

To the paramedic if their pulse is 12 beats per minute l hope u started CPR cause thats a real bad rate. like the would be unconscious & any real paramedic would not say that they have been to people with a rate off 12. So either ur not a paramedic or u r a real bad one.

it must be in range of 60 to 90, if you are an athlete it can be as low as 45 OK.
