instruction how to make a heart model out of paper

It is difficult to make it with paper. Better option would be to use thermocol.

Cutting the Paper Pieces
Step1
Cut a red & a white rectangle from construction paper, each measuring 3 inches by 9 inches.
Step2
Fold each paper rectangle in half, forming 3-inch by 4½-inch rectangles.
Step3
Measure up 3 inches from the folded edge of each rectangle. Draw a light pencil line parallel to the folded edge.
Step4
Draw a semicircle above the pencil line, reaching from one edge of the paper to the other. This semicircle forms the curved top of each half of the heart.
Step5
Cut along the curved line with scissors.
Step6
Place a ruler along the folded edge of each paper.
Step7
Make a light pencil mark at 1 inch & at 2 inches.
Step8
Cut with scissors, from the 1-inch mark straight up 3 inches to the pencil line u drew earlier.
Step9
Do the same from the 2-inch mark. The bottom section of ur paper will now be cut into three strips, which r each 1 inch wide.
Weaving the Heart
Step1
Place the red paper piece directly on top of the white.
Step2
Rotate the red piece 90 degrees.
Step3
Weave the top red strip by putting it inside the first white strip.
Step4
Put the middle white strip inside the red strip.
Step5
Put the red strip inside the third white strip.
Step6
Weave the middle red strip by putting the first white strip inside of it.
Step7
Put the middle red strip inside the middle white strip.
Step8
Put the third white strip inside the middle red strip.
Step9
Weave the third red strip following steps 12, 13 & 14. Your woven heart is complete!
Step10
Cut a strip of paper ½ inch by 8 inches & glue it to the front & back of the heart at the top to make a handle.
