l had alot of chest pains
the doctors said it was just anxiety

um but l got an echocardiagram anyway just to be sure

it appears l have ''aneurysm of the atrium spetum''

the doctor said i've probably had this since before l was born and its nothing to worry about
but l could look into it further if l so choose

it is also called ''bulging'' something something of the membrane? l cant remember
but its not where you have a hole in your heart
its like a bulge

anyway should l worry or should l just get on with my life


i'm 18 female
no risk factors for heart disease
he said this unlikely what has been causing chest pains
i guess i'm just asking if theres anyone on here who knows anything about this and could tell me more

Think about getting a second opinon so you can get on with your life.Any kind of aneurysm should not be taken lightly, and should be examined by a specialist - cardiologist in your case. Just because you're 18 does not mean you should not worry about it.
