Whenever he has a good day out with one of his friends or me and l leave he starts feeling panicked and nervous.. I am not sure how l can help him? Any advice l would greatly appreciate, thanks!

Tell him to go see a psychiatrist and get put on some anti anxiety medications. That is the best thing that will help me. It will calm him down so much.

l have panic attacks and l know they're not fun at all. l suggest going to the doctor.they will be able to evaluate him and give him the right medicine.Good luck!

cuz he needs to feel safe and when you leave his comfort level drops casue hez so use to having you near so if u leave he panics cuz hes scared and not safee u get me ?

l know this seems harsh, but try to leave him by himself for a while. not too long, but long enough. he just needs to learn how to adjust to the fact that people cant be around him 24/7. hes gotta learn be alone without feeling alone. talk to him on the phone sometimes to cheer him up. but l think hes just too used to being around people, that he just feels empty when hes alone.

Tell him to quit with the crap. Sounds like he is just trying to get your attention, and it is time to put his big boy panties on and stop acting like a child.

He needs to consult with a doctor or mental health professional.There are many medications that can be prescribed,that can help with his problem.

well since he is your boyfriend.. you should talk to him and let him know that you are kind of freaked.. then offer him help.. take him to see a therapist or something like that.. support always helps.. even if he does not recover.. it really helps to know that there is someone there.. that you are not alone!!

Before l moved away from my hometown, l had a panic attack at a movie theater during a movie. l had never had one before, but l knew instantly what it was. l have not had one since, so his panicking could be a side effect of a momentous changing point in his life.

My girlfriend, as well as my roommate, have anxiety problems. He should see a doctor. My roommate takes Niravam, a quick-release form of Xanax. I've taken it before and it really seems to instantly calm without having any adverse effects on personality or mood. She says it prevents freak-outs. My girlfriend is getting on somekind of new medication next week and l can give you an update on how it works.

Your BF does not need medication. Yeah, that is what this country needs.more doped up people taking medication.

Panic attacks are almost invariably the result of living a life untrue.

This shows that, at the very least, your BF has a conscience. He needs to start asking himself the difficult questions, and then start living his life the way he obviously believes he should.

It sounds like he is got some unconscious fear/stress in his life. It may take a little time and 'kindly' digging to get at it. Some therapy might help him. He is lucky he is got you, it sounds like you really care!

Panic attacks can be relieved by psychological support / cognitive behaviour therapy.
