The other day l am finding a bit stranger my heartbeat beats as normal and then all of a sudden as am working away it beat slow and l can feel this butmy pulse race and it worrys me sometimes its like l have to take a big deep breath to feel ok again any suggestions on what this could be l am worried to think it could be that young death syndrom like if it could be a start of it l will have to get the docters yet they might not be able to tell me anything cos it happens like one a week please help anyone had this problem

Panic attack. When you become aware of your heart it makes you anxious so it speeds up. l used to get it as a teenager, but it might be still worth a check up at the Drs to put your mind at rest.

Take a deep breath and hold for a few seconds then let it out and you should feel better. Breathe from your stomach and not the top of your chest, as that makes you feel more relaxed.

next time u experience it, analyse the situation..
there is every possibility this is due to palpitation or anxiety.
Otherwise, it cud be a by product of some breathing trouble. So, do Yoga and meditation which is a good de stresser and will help this a lot..
But always a DOCTOR is the best person to be consulted with

dont mind the ignorant idiots on here that give stupid - it sounds like an anxiety thing, for instance l had a period of anxiety where l constantly at rest felt my heart beating in my chest faster than normal, or sometimes if u get palpitations u take a big breath & it goes. they r usually just anxiety/totally normal but if its happening alot & u r worried do talk to ur doc & they will give u an ECG - they do it at the doctors office normally, ive had one before, really quick & simple, they just stick some sticker things on u & it takes like 2 minutes. take care x

l think this is definitely a concern to talk about with your doctor. It is something different, and it concerns your heart/blood pressure/circulation.whatever, it could be nothing, or it could be serious. Only a check-up will tell. Hope all goes well.

ask your family physician to take an EKG

Yes it could be anxiety; but l would not just settle for that. l think the best thing is to go to your GP who will rule everything else out. He will probably do an ECG/ possible monitoring of BP over a period of time (to get an accurate result) and take it from there.. l had similar issues a while back, even had a cardiac MRI. Nothing came back as abnormal. It was put down to anxiety/stress. Please see your Dr tomorrow to be on the safe side.it does sound like anxiety/panic attack
