Lately, it feels like my heart stops, and l get numb everywhere, for some reason, especially on my right side. l get pains where my heart is, but some people say it is probably just a chest pain. It kind of feels like I am having a heart attack, l guess you could say, I am not quite sure.

Well it could be angina .which is a pain in ur chest area ..it usually is brought on by stress .sometimes if u over work yourself..as in mowing the grass even. walking going up stairs & such different activities.if these pains r being brought on by one of these types of situations then u should seek medical advice asap as it could be a heart problem .usually when u know that u just did something & the pain is caused by this its called stable angina but if u r at rest & not under stress then this is called unstable angina which is not a good thing..but u should get medical advice also but either way if this a on going deal go to the doctors.

If you still alive, your heart is still beating. But the heart can drop beats sometimes, especially when a person is tired. Use you fingers to check your pulse over the wrist area to see if your heart beats regularly without a pause. Dropping of few heart beats occasionally would not affect too much to the circulation and oxygen supply to the body. And it is not a sign of heart attack neither.

why have you not gone to see a doctor by now ? you shud go if it turns out to be nothing you do not have any worries but it cud be a problem which in most cases can be sorted do not sit worrying go get to your docs

If you're feeling numb, that could be caused by hyperventilation - it is pretty scary when you're experiencing chest pain or discomfort. When you feel like your heart stops, is it like a palpitation (feeling like your heart flutters, or skips a beat)? All these symptoms sound stress-related to me, but I'd see a GP, just to be certain.
