I am a little worried about my heart. I am 14 years old and l do not think this should be happening. Recently my heart for about 30 seconds has been beating irregularily. l can feel it up in my throat, and it feals like l do not have enough air sometimes. They past few times it is happened was when l got out of bed to wash my face, and just now when l got off of here to get some icecream. I am not a extreme atheletic person, but I am not lazy couch potato either. Why is this?? Could it be because of not eating the right/enough foods??

Go to the doctor and ask them about it. Chances are you may have heart palpitations, If you do do not worry, they are usually a minor problem at most and are genetic.

l think it is called tachycardia, and nothing to be too concerned about, other than to mention it to your doctor on your next visit.

l had it when l was younger, very rarely now. To stop it, l would stretch out my chest and hold my breath. The pressure against the heart got it going regularly again.

OMG, you young kids and your panicking, oh no your heart is gonna explode. Seriously, its called being light headed get up slower and the blood will not rush through your arteries and you veins.
