l get these things were somtimes my heart beats realy fast and my pules can get upto well over 140 any ideaS?

Many things can cause palpitations. Some causes of heart palpitations include the following:


Heart-related causes. People with an irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia may also have palpitations. (Arrhythmia is a change in the rhythm of ur heartbeat.) Most of the time, palpitations & irregular heartbeats r harmless. However, sometimes the break in ur heart is normal rhythm can be a serious problem. You also may have palpitations if u have problems with the valves in ur heart. Valves help move blood through the heart.
Non-heart-related causes. Certain medicines, herbal supplements & illegal street drugs can make ur heart beat faster. Medicines that can cause palpitations include asthma inhalers & decongestants. Caffeine (found in coffee, tea & soda), alcohol & tobacco can also cause palpitations. People who have panic disorder feel their heart pounding when they r fearful of something or having a panic attack. Some medical conditions, such as thyroid disease & anemia, also can cause palpitations.
Sometimes the cause of palpitations cannot be found. This happens in about 1 of every 7 people who have palpitations. Palpitations in these people usually r not harmful.

You should really see your doctor. It could be nothing, but it could be something that needs to be treated.Please see your doctor!!

Could be many underlying causes for Tachycardia. l would pop along to your GP for a few tests including having your Thyroid level checked and then take things from there.

This is known as tachycardia. The best thing to do is visit ur family doctor & he may recomend u see a heart specialist called a cardiologist for a work up. Your family doctor will send ur medical records to the specialist to go over them. The cardiologist may run a stress test, or put a vest on u that monitors ur heart 24 hours a day & lets the doctor know everything ur heart is doing, or other various tests to determine if there is a problem. Or they may not do any tests at all because u may be perfectly healthy but under stress. You may want to go to an ER when this happens so they can get an EKG or a snapshot of ur heart while it is in this state. Please consult a doctor because something is causing this to happen. Ive got the same problem. Make sure u stay calm & relaxed if u develop a high heart rate & call ur doctor.
