You really should consult the ordering physician & have him/her clarify what exactly this means for you.

Ischemia is a result of inadequate blood supply to an organ. In this case, that organ is the heart. The inducible part just means that it was produced by the stress test.

As for follow-up, that is something that needs to be/will be decided between u & ur physician.

Like the previous answer mentions, ischemia is a result of lack of blood & oxygen to a required organ or section of that organ. During the treadmill test or sometimes referred to as stress test, u body requires a great cardiac output (i.e. pumping harder & faster) in order to deliver the appropriate amount of oxygen to ur working muscles. Therefore, in ur case, when u r put under stress (i.e. the treatmill), there is a lack of oxygen going to the myocardium (or muscle) of ur heart, but again, this is under stress. Under normal resting conditions, ischemia may not be present.

However, in order to answer this question more correctly, u will need to take into consideration ur BMI, history, etc. Speak with the ordering physician, have the results forward to ur GP or family physician to have this clarified.
