l get heart palputations...where my heart just all of a sudden goes into a hyper state even when im completely still. It comes on very fast..and l get bad chest pain...my eyes ussually go fuzzy and l can barely see its hard to walk or do anything cuz im so weak..and dizzy..and l have a really hard time taking deep breaths which doesnt help the situation. its very painful and mine can last up to 10 min of my heart litterally fluttering because its beating so fast.

i am on anti-depressant...anti inflammatory..birth control, and antacid. l had this problem before l was on any of the medications.

after it stops...its like my heart stops for a second..and then l get this very powerful beat when it is returning to normal...and this one and about 3 after ..hurt like hell. l see stars when it does that big thump and l feel my whole body just throb.

i have mentioned this to my doctor...and he got me an ekg..and a 24 hour monitor that l wore..but unfortunatly l didnt get a palputation when l was wearing it. often some days l find...my heart will go 3 beats and then the third one will be really powerful...its really annoying and sometimes goes all day like that but l ussually try to ignore it. but if its gone all day like that...if l bend down really quick or something...it triggers one of these major heart palputations...i have heard they can turn into heart attacks. l am only 20 years old. l eat healthy..and l get enough sleep. l exersice as well.

any ideas or advice..or personal experiences?

does this sound like a problem with the ''electrical'' system in my heart?

l had this for about 5 years. l was constantly worrying it which made it way worse. l too have an ecg & the Holter Monitor which showed l had nothing except a harmless heart murmur. When l did get the palpitations l felt very afraid, weak, dizzy & sick. This is was related to anxiety l figured out later.

Because the doctors did not seem too fussed about it l decided to take it upon myself to do something about it. l kept a diary of when they happened. Caffeine was a major & obvious contributor towards the palpitations; but they only fully stopped when l took myself of the pill.

Taking yourself off ur pill willy nilly is NOT something l would recommend, l just wanted to let u know that it did help me. Taking yourself off the pill brings in a whole host of other problems & worries such as contreception, period pain & many others. If l were u l would alk to ur doctor about u concerns next time u see him/her.

It sounds very very similar to the symptoms l had & it turned out to be something very fixable & nothing too serious
