So This never bothered me until now, as l have never expereince and severe or even moderate side effects from it. Im reading all these articlse on sudden cardiac death and l feel like l may be more at risk. Well anyways

From as young as l can remember up until about 9 months ago l have had a very fast resting heart rate. It would typically hover around 80-120, with 80-100 being more typical. l would increase after eating meals to about 100-110.Now l thought this was because of my hyperactive state and my body type (ectomorph). However, this fast heart rate suddenyl stopped 9 months ago over about 1-2 days. Now my resting is around 60-70 all the time.Occasionally l get episodes (after l eat only) where it gets up to 100, but this only happens once every week or two weeks.l have an a EKG during one of these episodes and it turned out fine (not a cardiologist). l have failed to find any literature or condition like this on the web. Most people that have arrythmias have heart rates way above 100. so WTF is this?

While my condition is definitely different than yours, l very recently went through a similar mystery heart ailment. l frequently got palpitations, arrhythmia's, & my heart rate would spike for no reason. l had an EKG, & heart sonogram & they kept telling me everything was fine. It was only when they gave me an event monitor to wear for 2-4 weeks that it was finally caught.
l would go to an actual cardiologist & describe ur symptoms. They will probably want to do another EKG, but should also suggest the event monitor. If they don't, ask for it. The monitor is always recording ur heart is events, but the recordings get dropped after a day or so. When you're having an ''event'' (i.e. experiencing ur unusual symptoms), u hit the record button & it will be stored & sent to a lab to be analyzed. That is the only way they were able to actually see the problem as it happened for me. They quickly found out my condition & l had surgery last wek to correct it. Good luck!
