Just was sitting at my computer typing a word document nothing special just bored and my heart suddenly starts racing extremely fast can kinda feel it pulsing against my ribs has happened a few times before and is scary because its totally random im not looking at anything special or anything is happening!
l also have random heart pains but they go away after a few minutes (happens every day). ive been checked out my a heart doctor at one of the best children hospitals and they said there no prob with me (was 4 years ago).
BTW im 16 and a male.
Any advise on what this is?

You might be having a run of tachycardia, which just means ''fast heartbeat''. It is also called a palpitation - which is any heartbeat that you are acutely aware of.
It is totally worthwhile to get your heart rechecked, as what was normal 4 years ago, has now changed.
They might have you wear a holter monitor, which will record your heartbeat for 24 hours to get a good look at what your heart is up to during the day.

l have the same problem.. its called palpitations & l dont really know why it happens because l could be doing absolutely nothing & it happend & it feels as if my heart want to fly out of my chest.
i got a heart monitor. u have it for two weeks & whenever u feel it happen u press the button to record & after it is finished recording. u call the number they give u & play it back & they will tell u what was going on with ur heart at that time.. u should make an appointment & ask to use a heart monitor.
its only a concern when it doesnt let u sleep or if it makes u faint or almost faint.
sometimes its normal.
dont be so worried but if u want to know why it does that.. u need the heart monitor so that ur doctor can explain everything that was happening with ur heart at the time that happened..
sometimes my heart will have a premature beat(an extra beat) but they said thats normal
when my heart fluttered it was because the pulse decided to take a different path than the one it was supposed to. nothing bad!!!
im only 17 lol
i had heart surgery at months old & l was supposed to use a pacer( paces my heart beats) l can live without it so l didnt get one after all
